17. Partnership for the goals

Populism, what is it ? And what are the mechanisms and consequences ? A result of an engaging activity to collaboratively explore and develop a shared understanding of a critical topic like populism.

Isabel is a primary school teacher and since 2016, they have had a school link with Toucountouna, in Benin. Children are ultimately the adults of tomorrow. We count on them to make our planet a sustainable society.

This year 2020 is one that has been particularly difficult for the world due to the emergence of the coronavirus pandemic. A lot of people have lost their jobs. Economic hardship has been the order of the day. My dream is to have a flourishing business that is known all over the world.

The Earth is a planet with many traditions and natural resources. An intercultural exchange can help us understand our world better.  It's not only an opportunity to exchange visions and ideas, but also to strengthen our society as citizens of the world.

Senegal is a small country located in West Africa. One of its large regions, Tambacounda, now has many children on the street looking for food or money.

Since 2013, Venezuela has been going through an economic crisis. We need to understand that people only leave their country in extreme situations of insecurity.

The Municipal Council for International Cooperation, GRIS, annually provides resources for emergency aid and subsidies to approximately 15 projects in the South. All these projects are monitored by residents of Evergem.

Every trimester the students can chosse out of 10 different workshops to follow, 2 hrs a week. The video is a journal on how the workshop went of ´becoming medialiterate through digital storytelling´.

Patrick, a former child soldier, tells us about what he has been going through. He was abducted when he was 10 to serve in the rebel army.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, a desire for dialogue and the demand to foster widespread communication emerged among diverse cultural movements. Come and meet Radio Cafundó !
