The first wave of emancipation started when two American ladies were refused to enter the Court of Justice in London. They concluded that an International Council should be founded to emancipate women worldwide.Since 1957 women got equal pay and equal rights at the factory.

Roumayssa was born and raised in Brussels but has strong ties with Morocco. Every trip to Morocco comes with a combination of nostalgia and joy, but also a desire to be at her home in Belgium. This inner struggle between these two worlds reflects the complex identity as a child of immigrants.

In the supermarkets, we are overwhelmed by products that tempt us with flavour enhancers and misleading labels. These processed foods, full of sugar and chemical additives, undermine our health. It is time to be more conscious of our choices so that the food industry misleads us less.
