Malaria is a contagious disease caused by mosquitoes. As an activity we brought among other things. home visits, door-to-door, and we raised awareness.
The 'Causerie' activity calls on around twenty people to raise their awareness of the subject of the debate.
Film projections are often used for social mobilization. The number of people present is most important. We are then with around a hundred people.
Lobbywork.
We also engage in lobbywork to pass on the information and raise awareness among village leaders, imams, etc.
Pregnant woman and malaria.
Malaria in pregnant women is very serious. Her life and that of her baby is in danger. In pregnant women it is called 'serious malaria' because it can only be treated in the hospital.
"Simple malaria" can be cured at the health post and even by people who have been trained in it.
To better protect oneself, it is advisable to use the impregnated mosquito net, to clean the entourage, etc.
